When ordering Alarm Monitoring Services from one of several Alarm Service branded companies, you were assigned a "Temporary" account number.  In some cases, depending on the type of equipment or services you have, you would have been assigned you "Permanent" account number immediately.  To proceed with your alarm conversion, you will need to know either your "Temporary" or your "Permanent" account number.  If after you read through this section your not sure what your account number is, please call our new account set-up help line at 1-855-592-2976.

 

Monitoring Over Phone or VoIP Line (With Installer Code)

If your alarm monitoring was ordered to be over a TELEPHONE LINE or VoIP LINE and you have the Installer Code to either self program or have someone else  reprogram your own alarm panel you should have already received your permanent account number as well as the phone number to program into the alarm panel to send signals into the monitoring center when calling our new account setup help line at 1-855-592-2976.  Once you have this information, please proceed to STEP 1 below.

 

Monitoring Over Phone or VoIP Line (Without Installer Code)

If your alarm monitoring was ordered to be over a TELEPHONE LINE or VoIP LINE and you DO NOT have the installer code to reprogram your alarm panel, you will be sent a DIGITAL DIVERTER to automatically convert your alarm system for you.  The digital diverter is a plug-n-play device that plugs in between your alarm panel and your phone line to change the phone number you r alarm panel is dialing when it goes into alarm.  It obtains its power from the phone line and is pre-programmed with the required data to work out of the box.  You should have already received your temporary account number which will change once you connect and test the alarm into the center.  Once you test your alarm into the center using the digital diverter, you will be given your permanent account number.  However, while you are waiting for the digital diverter to be shipped to you, please proceed to STEP 1 below.

 

Monitoring Over Internet or Cellular (Reusing your Transmitter)

If monitoring is ordered over the INTERNET or by CELLULAR alarm transmitter using a specialized transmitter already installed at your premises, a technical support member will contact you to obtain either the mac address or the serial number of your transmitter in  order to assume its service. Be sure to have contacted you previous alarm provider to RELEASE the transmitter in order for us to assume its control.  If it has not been released, we cannot take control of it to route the alarm signals into the center. Once we assume the transmitter and test it into the center, you will receive your permanent account number. However, prior to the transfer of your device, please proceed to STEP 1 below.

 

Monitoring Over Internet or Cellular (Using Our Provided Transmitter)

If monitoring is ordered over the INTERNET or by CELLULAR alarm transmitter using a new transmitter provided by us, you will be shipped a transmitter kit that has not only the transmitter itself, but several universal parts that may be needed to connect the transmitter to your alarm panel.  The transmitter is a plug-n-play device that is pre-programmed to work out of the box.  Once it has been installed and tested into the center, you will receive your permanent account number.  However, while you are waiting for the transmitter to be shipped to you, please proceed to STEP 1 below.

 

Monitoring Over Email (AlarmMail)

If you ordered monitoring using Email, you will be asked to call our new account setup line at 1-855-592-2976 to obtain your permanent alarm account number and your encrypted Email address to send your alarm signals into.  However, prior to doing so, please proceed to STEP 1 below.

 

Monitoring Elevator Emergency Call Boxes

If you ordered monitoring of an elevator call box, the elevator must have a phone line that cannot change numbers during the duration of the service.  This is because we use the caller ID of that phone line to determine the elevator alarm account. Once you have determined the caller ID that will be connected to the elevator call box, please notify our new setup department by calling 1-855-592-2976.  A permanent account number will then be issued to you.  However, until then, please proceed to STEP 1 below.

 

No matter what service you ordered we recommend completing the following steps below AS SOON AS POSSIBLE before you even begin the process of alarm conversion as your alarm data should be in place before you begin.

 

If You Ordered E-Notify Services, Where you can receive instant email and Text alerts, place your account on & off test and change your emergency contacts online, you can log into your account online right at  www.GoToMyAlarm.com Go ahead and try to log in now using your TEMPORARY ACCOUNT NUMBER and PASSWORD of "WELCOME". ( NOTE: USE MICROSOFT EXPLORER ONLY )  If you have difficulties, please call our new setup department at 1-855-592-2976.

 

 

 

In order to begin your conversion process, please complete steps 1,2,3 & 4 below

AS SOON AS POSSIBLE 

 

(1) FIRST CLICK HERE to order Custom Insurance Certificates, Window Warning Decals and Outdoor Yard Signs.

 

(2) THEN CLICK HERE to Add Emergency Contacts, (Like Family or Neighbors) Alarm Passwords and Email or Text Alerts.

 

 (3) THEN CLICK HERE to Send Us Photos of Your Alarm System.

 

(4)  THEN CLICK HERE to Add Your Alarm Zone Descriptions. (This can also be done after your alarm monitoring has started.)

 

NOTE: Proceed to STEP #5 under the following conditions:

(1) If you are SELF-PROGRAMMING your alarm system for monitoring services.

(2) If you have YOUR OWN EXISTING Internet or Cellaulr Transmitter that we need to register in order to use  it for monitoring services.

(3) If you ORDERED a Digital Diverter, Internet or Cellular Transmitter and IT HAS ARRIVED*.
